11-21-2017 Hello. I grew up in Columbus, Ohio. (1954 to 1972). I currently live in Dayton, Ohio and I am working with Ms. Erin Morgan, Assistant to the Chief Legal Counsel of Franklin County Children's Services , to find out WHY my biological mother, Mary Elizabeth Sprouse, appears in the 1930 USA Franklin County Ohio Children's Home population? I have photo evidence ( a 1930 USA Census doc) that my mother was a member of the FCC-Home population posted at my personal web site. My mother's oral history [to me] was that a male person, at the Franklin County Ohio court house (circa 1928), wearing a robe, did command that she be separated from her biological mother, Ms. Zora Elizabeth Miller, Sprouse - and, placed into the Franklin County Children's Home. This event occurred when my mother (born 1919) was very young. I did speak with a person, at your Clerk of Courts offices, on the telephone - during 2017. She stated that she had no records, prior to the 1970s, and, our conversation ended. I AM not INTENDING TO FILE ANY FORM OF LEGAL DOCUMENT. Rather, at this time, I wish to verify what this Franklin County Clerk of Courts representative did tell me, to assist Ms. Morgan's efforts - and, also understand why this is so? Perhaps, the FC-CofC employee only meant digital records - which were available to her? Perhaps, paper records do exist? Or, perhaps the records, prior to 1970, were - for some reason - destroyed? I believe (currently) my maternal Grandmother, Ms. Zora Elizabeth [Miller] Sprouse was also married, during her life span ( 1983 - 1953) to, Jerry Roby - also spelled RobEy. My maternal, biological, grandfather was Mr. George Allen Sprouse. (1877 to 1929). My mother (1919 to 1985) was married to my biological father Milo Gerald Cassady. My step-father was William (BiLL) Brothers (also of Columbus, Ohio). My personal web site can easily be found - simply enter Zora Sprouse children to any internet browser. Or, my personal web site URL is: WWW dot hans AND cassady dot org. A page is specific to Zora and what may have happened - and Why. My posted appeal, to the Franklin County Children Services, has many more details. I will post this request for information to the Zora page - also.
