I'm reaching out because according to our records, you didn't donate to the DNC last month. [ Nor will I ever give $$$$ - I VOTE! - You red-haired b**** ]
I know times are tough for a lot of folks on this team, but I hope you'll give me a moment to explain why, if your budget allows, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats nationwide are depending on you to make a $7 contribution to our party in this final stretch. WRONG!
In just over a month, the last votes of the most consequential election of our lifetimes will be cast. [ YOU WANT MY VOTE ? -OR $$$$ ]
So much is on the line -- from the environment, to health care, to the very future of our democracy. [LISTEN B****,
1) I INTEND TO VOTE "BIDEN-HARRIS" & DESIREE TIMS, ETC.
2) I HAVE DRAFTED A UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE BILL - for the "hopper" - THAT WILL WORK! [ pdf ]
3) MY DEGREE - FROM UWGB..."eco u" - IS IN "ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE"... Every hydroCarbon molecule "combusted" breaks to Co2 & water Vapor > "go green or GO HOME" -
Folks all over the country are already voting, so we have no choice but to give this fight our all and completely ramp up our operation in time to fight for every last vote.
I'll cut to the chase: Expanding our voter outreach efforts and maintaining programs already in use by campaigns nationwide takes a tremendous amount of resources, and we urgently need your support.
Your contribution today will allow our party to reach voters where they are and support Democrats all over the country. HOW?
So, Susan, will you chip in $7, or whatever you can, to our party today?
Your contribution will help inform some of the very last decisions we make about where we can invest in this race.
What we can accomplish in the next few weeks is largely dependent on the resources we have available today.
I'd hate for folks like you and me to look back on this moment and realize there was more we could have done to support Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats down the ballot, which is why I have to ask again:
Susan, will you donate $7 to the DNC so that our party is well-equipped to support Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and down-ballot Democrats in this final stretch of the race?
The only way we'll win this election is if everyone on this grassroots team fully commits themselves to this fight for the next few weeks.
Thank you for doing your part,
Jessalyn : Jessalyn Reid : Senior Mobilization Advisor : Democratic National Committee
P.S. This bears repeating, Susan: Folks all over the country are casting their ballots right now, as you read this. We cannot afford to hesitate,
so please donate $7 -- or whatever you can -- to the DNC today to help reach voters before it's too late.

*oh, about that asterisk: in 2004, because of the Kerry campaign's foray into the world of public financing, a whole lot of money went to the DNC. i don't include that aberration in the "best months ever" count, but you do you. regardless: august 2020 is one for the books!
doing this work early on sets up an unprecedented ability to harness enthusiasm and empower supporters to own a piece of the Democratic Party. if there's one takeaway from the historic numbers of the DNC + Biden teams this year, it's this: hire good digital early, listen to them.
investment also means leadership listening to the team when they fight for "boring" things like improving deliverability, reactivating lapsed emails, and testing every. last. thing. these are the unsexy longterm priorities that turn a very good program into a historic program.
grassroots enthusiasm is quite literally off the charts - it's clear folks are VERY excited to elect Democrats at every level of office. and over the past 3 years, the DNC has made historic investments building an incredible in-house online fundraising program and infrastructure.
some news of the record-breaking variety for your saturday night: as of tonight, august 2020 is the best online fundraising month in DNC history* (!!!)
i hope you guys aren’t sick of fundraising-record-breaking twitter because:

Today was the best online fundraising day in the DNC's history, another clear sign of the historic level of enthusiasm for @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris. #DemConvention
the last time the DNC raised this much online in a month, tik tok by kesha was the top charting song and inception was the hot new thing at the movie theatre. also i could not legally drink. all that is to say: !!! thank you to every single person who cares about our democracy.

’s local iowa disaster relief — and it doesn’t happen by accident, it happens when a team makes the case for mobilizing this resource for the power of good. great work team tom.
I'll be a proud Virginian tonight watching Mr. Khan represent our Commonwealth during the roll call vote. He's a true patriot.

Tonight >> 4 years after he offered to lend Donald Trump his pocket Constitution... Khizr Khan will represent Virginia during the roll call vote at the Democratic National Convention. It’s the moment when states cast their votes for the ticket and platform. #DemConvention @WUSA9
are you a hyper-organized and broadly competent person who likes online fundraising and loves electing Democrats, specifically in the next 78 days? please dm me! i would love to meet you. (and if you know someone like this, send them my way!)
i needed to snip off the ends of my mask’s ear ties and just earnestly asked the hair salon if they had any scissors, by chance. they do, in fact.......
(and yes, also me) who have been pushing for positive, smart, emotional, thoughtful programs for years, often winning those fights while simultaneously setting fundraising records. it’s literally happening!
can we both raise money AND stir people’s souls, give them goosebumps, rock their worlds? many of the best in the business agree we should try. but much of this work is at its core about building the funds campaigns NEED to survive and win. and we’re doing that pretty damn well.
